About Me	Life The Short Version After high school I went to Western Bible College then to Arapahoe Community College taking Welding Technology. During all that time I also worked part time and met my wife Connie on a blind date. We were married in 76. I changed jobs to weld full time, moved to shop supervisor, then a few jobs later managing a truck equipment & welding shop. Meanwhile Connie & I had 3 kids, Jeremy, Jessica and Jenna. Now all married and moved away. Yea. I decided to go into welding inspection in 96 & studied for the Certified Welding Inspector/Educators test. Part time at night I started teaching Adult Ed welding in Thornton and did it for 5 plus years, meantime I received a Colorado Career and Technical Educator Teaching Certificate in Welding Technology & Hydraulic Systems. Changed full time jobs again to Quality Control Manager for a steel bridge factory, again to Director of Quality & Training for a structural steel building fabrication & erection company and now Fabrication Manager for a cell tower company. I became very involved in the American Welding Society here in Colorado. I have been the Section Secretary, Education Chair, Section Chairman and now Section Education Chairman again. After my youngest, Jenna married and moved to Texas I took up SCUBA. Yes, the two are related by always wanting to do it and with the last of my kids gone having the time and money. Currently I am a PADI Advanced, Wreck, Nitrox with over 95 logged dives. Today I am still married and have 5 grand children. Yea. OH, yes I did giv...(read more)
