Jean was a very shy girl but she was my friend. She had long dark har full bangs and horn rimmed glasses. I always sat in awe of her stories about the big city. (she was from Chicago I think) Jeanie Miller she and I were best friends. Jean moved down here with her Grandma who was a cook at Guy's Steakhouse. Jean died tragically from an overdose of pills. She was 1 of a couple sisters. I have often thought about her and what her life would be like now. She was a pretty mysterious girl and very shy about any plans for the future. The song "Bridge over Troubled Waters" was popular back then and every time I hear that song I am reminded of her.. She is buried in the little cemetary north of Cowden along the highway. I have tried a couple times to locate her but haven't had any luck yet. I hope she's in a better place.
