About	Linda moved to Canandaigua New York shortly after graduation and married Tim Gerstner they had one son Scott (wife Tedra)who is a Stock Broker in New York. Scott and Tedra gave Linda two of the most precious gifts in life, her grandson Jack and granddaughter Elisa. Linda received her degree in Nursing at the College of Finger Lakes in Canandaigua New York, graduating magna cum laude. Linda was the Director of Nursing at the Veterans Hospital in Rochester New York. After the closing of the Hospital and her divorce she came back to Indiana because she wanted to help care for her mother who was ill. Linda worked at the VA Hospital in Indianapolis until her retirement after 31 years with the VA. Linda lost her battle with Cancer after a three month fight which she fought knowing that even if she didn't win maybe the Doctors and Nurses at Indiana University Hospital would gain knowledge that would help someone else. She was greatly admired by the Doctors and Nurses she worked with at the VA and She is loved and missed by her family and friends.
