Favorite School Memory	I enjoyed Scream Team, freaked the day the tarantula escaped in biology class and laugh everytime I remember how we pulled a stunt on our 6th hour English substitute teacher in 10th grade. I think our offiicial teacher was Miss Stipes (?) but she was absent a lot so I'm not certain of her name. I sat near the door and pursuaded the substitute teacher (not Stipes) to come to my desk to answer a question about our 'busy work' assignment. Then someone (Bobby Vinton?) jumped out the window and ran across the lawn as planned. Then Elaine Rowley(?) yelled "Hey, who jumped out that window?" and, as we had all hoped, the substitute ran to the window, stuck his head out and asked who was that kid? But it was too late. We had all bolted out the door and down the hall. Cindy Anderson and I were the first ones out the door. We ran like the wind. I almost laughed my face off. But it wasn't so funny by the next week because the principal divided the class into four subgroups and we all met in different places for the rest of the course. One group met in his office, one in the VPs office, one in the library and one in the old classroom. What a memory - I was the first student out the door that day and looked forward to many more fun-filled days at West.
