About Me	I completed a research fellowship in exercise physiology at the Washington University School of Medicine in 1982 and a cardiology fellowship at Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas in 1985. Since that time, I have been a physician-scientist at the Washington University School of Medicine. My best accomplishment is conducting and publishing research showing that high intensity exercise training is the best therapeutic intervention in medicine but I enjoy teaching medical students, medical residents and cardiology fellowship trainees about medicine, cardiology, and exercise in my role as Professor of Medicine at the Washington University School of Medicine and attending physician at Barnes Jewish Hospital and the...(read more)
