Captain Tim Armentrout

Captain Tim Armentrout

Class of 1997

My brother is Captain Tim Armentrout of the United States Marine Corp. Tim graduated Shawnee High School in 1997 and went on to Ohio University where he obtained his degree in Criminology. Tim chose to serve his country and joined the Marine Corp. He completed Officer Candidate School at Quantico, Virginia. Captain Armentrouts military career has been devoted to serving his country and preserving the freedoms that we as Americans sometimes take for granted. Tim is currently serving his fourth tour in Iraq by choice. He would be the first to tell you that her will continue to deploy to Iraq as long as the men he trains have to make the trip. Captain Armentrout loves his country more than anyone I have ever met. He takes pride in this great country that we live in. Every day he makes the choice to protect and serve. He gives each one of us the opportunity to be successful, to sleep at night knowing that our freedom will still be there in the morning, the opportunity to laugh and love, and most of all the right to be proud to be an American. Captain Tim choses each day to one of the first in line to sacrifice his life to guarantee each one of us these freedoms. For these reasons I submit my brother, Captain Tim Armentrout for Shawnee High Schools Wall of Fame. Hoo Rah!!!!
