Ah, Frank, what a splendid guy! He lived in our neighborhood, and I would sometimes play with his son Jeff and admire his pretty girls, Coleen and Laurel. They were active outdoor kids who would be quite tanned by Summer's end, a happy fun-loving family. He eventually acquired an enviable automotive twosome: a two-bay garage with (I hope I get the year right) a '66 Mustang in one bay, and a '66 Corvair in the other! It was enough to make a gear-head drool.
He worked at the power plant and that, alas, was probably what did him in, as I understand he had mesothelioma. He deserved better than that. Much better. Rest In Peace, Frank.
