About Event
The Shadle Class of 1965 (which is, as far as we can tell, the largest graduating class not only for Shadle but for all of Spokane with 851 official graduates) is celebrating their 50th Reunion this August, 2015. We were part of the Baby Boom after WWII & we have seen many changes in our 65+ years of living. One thing has not changed - the work ethic that was instilled in us by our families & our appreciation of our good fortune to be born in this country & in the city of Spokane. Our theme is: "Celebration Time is Here". We are alive, grateful, humbled, & ready to honor those we have lost by living the best lives we can in their memory.
Friday, Aug., 14, 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. - Informal Pre-function @ The Venue (separate building behind Snoops Saloon), N. 6416 Cincinnati. Open Bar - Owner/proprietor & fellow '65 grad - Dan Mackey.
Saturday, Aug. 15, 10;00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. - Picnic & our first-ever Car Rally @ Mukogawa Fort Wright Institute, 4000 W. Randolph Rd. Provide own lunch.
Saturday, Aug. 15, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. - Informal 50th Celebration also @ Fort Wright Institute. Come join us to reconnect with old friends & make new connections. There will be an open bar, buffet dinner, displays & memorabilia, a beautiful setting, decorations like we used to have for our high school dances, professional videographer & photographer who will have samples available to purchase individually afterwards,
Total cost: $50 per person for Saturday - must be paid ahead of time. No cost to attend Friday night. Both days involve extra cost for beverages only.
