| Favorite School Memory | The great room BUZZ walking into SPHS Day 1-the fun, the tears, the fears, the wins & loses of our young lives plus positive interaction between the upper classmen and incoming students-the quality of student activities available as well as camaraderie we shared remains with me today. I looked up to some many of you & wanted to emulate your qualities & contribute my own. As a frightened sophomore, there was always a smiling face 2 find at Shadle or some club/actitivty to join or somewhere make a contribution & a new friend. I loved home room & the safe home bases we felt there. There was a pure hearted- spirit -filled-great energy shared by Highlanders. Peppered with the classic growing up challenges, I feel we enjoyed a time of relative innocence that seems rare today. Each student stepped up with their own gifts and abilities. | About Me | Oh my Gosh. I have played the Game of Life like everybody. Life is an ongoing School Room at each developmental stage. To list them all seems way to personal yet the more things change the more they stay the same in life, right? I reached out to life to achieve my goals, define my objectives and refined my approach in love, marriage, family, life changes, new love, transitions, humbling & glory-filled thrills alike. My main goal was/is to love and care for my family and friends and those who have come into my life. I intend always to do so with purpose and passion. What I did in my youth is what I have done my whole life which is to be a student of life and also be the teacher I am.
