Mike passed away very unexpectedly at 63. He had served an LDS mission to Brazil for 2 1/2 years. graduated from BYU, had flying careers both in the Air Force and Airlines. Flew T-38s and C5As in the Air Force. Flew for Western, Southwest and Delta Airlines, retiring as a 767 captain for Delta. Married Caryn Caldwell (class of '61) - they had 8 children and 35 grandchildren. He served in many callings in the LDS church including as a Bishop and a member of the Spokane Temple Presidency. He is missed!
