About	Kenyon M. Trawick, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Ken was born on October 7, 1953 in Montgomery to Lewie and Margaret Trawick. He was a graduate of Montevallo University with a Bachelor's of Music Education degree. He married Cheryl (Dalnodar) Trawick in June 1980. Ken taught school and was a band director for more than 25 years. In addition, he performed in numerous local musical organizations such as Celebration Winds and Power and Glory. He also served in the 313th US Army Reserve Band. Ken's love for teaching and music was only surpassed by his love for family and friends. Ken's greatest source of pride was his family. He is survived by his wife Cheryl, his children Sean (Jamie) Trawick and Kimberly (Blake) Alexander and his grandchildren Wyatt, Brantley and Shane. He is also survived by his brother Gordon (Anna) Trawick and his sister Elizabeth Louise (Trawick) Patterson. "Big Papa" will be missed by all. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 13th from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. There will be a short memorial service starting at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
