About	O'BRIEN, KELLY JOSEPH, age 46 of Homewood, Alabama died Saturday, August 4, 2001. He was a native of Homewood and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Mr. O'Brien was a graduate of Shades Valley High School, University of Alabama, and Cumberland School of Law. He practiced as a title attorney and was Vice-President of Surety Land Title. Mr. O'Brien was a devoted husband to his wife, Jane (Wilker). He was very active in the lives of his sons, Daniel, Casey, David, and his daughter, Kathryn. Kelly was a friend to his surviving brothers, Michael (Talladega), Charlie (B'ham), Pat (B'ham) and Kevin (Chicago) and his sister, Mary Elsie/Bootie (B'ham). He was a faithful son to his surviving parents, Hugh and Betty Ann (Wehby) O'Brien. He was a devoted Catholic and attended Eucharistic Adoration at the Chapel of Our Savior for the past 10 years. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2001 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Hoover. Family will receive visitors Tuesday 5-7 pm and a rosary will follow at 7 pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or John Croyle's Big Oak Ranch and Apostolate of the Mental Retarded. John Ridout's Valley Chapel directing.
