About	DODD, PAMELA DIANE BARRON Age 56 of Homewood, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2011. A member of Edgewood Presbyterian Church, Pam graduated from Shades Valley High School and earned her B.S. Degree in Nursing from Faulkner University. She spent many years serving the Birmingham community as a nurse at nearly all the major hospitals and was currently employed at UAB Hospital. Pam was preceded in death by her son, Nathaniel Dodd and by her father, Preston Barron, Jr. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 39 years, Phil Dodd; two sons, Jeremy Dodd and Stan Dodd; mother, Nell Barron; and by her brother, Mike Barron. The visitation and reception for family and friends will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20th, at Edgewood Presbyterian Church with burial immediately following at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of usual remembrances, memorials honoring Pamela Dodd may be directed to Edgewood Presbyterian Church or to the Fresh Air Farm. Services are under the direction of Ridout's Valley Chapel (879-3401) in Homewood.
