| About Me | I returned to the UK and continued my education. I worked for an American Buying Company in Regents Street, London. Became a member of the Bahá'í Faith and moved to the beautiful City of Bath. Worked in advertising and then as a secretary to the Editor on the Bath Evening Chronicle. Met my future husband Richard, married in Bath 1973 and moved to the beautiful Wye Valley in Wales. Had two children, Joanna in 1976 and Alexander in 1982.Trained in pre-school education and then worked in playgroups and then as a development worker visiting pre-school settings for nearly 20 years. Involved in Bahá'í Faith activities and participating in workshops in schools. I lead a busy and fruitful life with my lovely family and enjoy being with the grandchildren. I was married to Richard for 46 years but very sadly he died this year in February (2020). We have travelled to many countries. I have also spent time in Uganda and visited Rwanda as my daughter was doing Voluntary Service Overseas work in Uganda for over three years. I have often reflected on my days as a 16 year old student at Sewanhaka High School as it was such a unique and happy experience at the time. I still have my year ring, other mementos and the Totem 1964 book with many lovely written messages from the teachers and fellow students I got to know and made friends with, although I have lost touch over the years with the few I shared letters.
