About Me	After graduation from Sewanhaka High School, my home for the next 20 years became the United States Air Force. The Air Force gave me the opportunity to live in Utah, Ohio, Illinois, Florida, Guam, Korea, Thailand and various south East Asian countries. I retired from the USAF in 1981 with two degrees and a teaching certificate. New Hampshire was my last duty station and also where my second career in nuclear power generation began. This civilian career was quite a change and also very exciting. The next 20 years I spent living and working in Louisiana, Ohio, Florida and Mississippi. My wife Janet and I fell in love with the south and retired on the Gulf of Mexico. We enjoyed our home on the beach and subsequently another home in the retirement community of Diamondhead. Hurricane Katrina changed our plans. We currently own a home in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, a certified retirement community and are learning more and more about our new environment. My active involvement in aviation, which I had fallen in love with at Sewanhaka , was rekindled after my retirement and has kept me busy in the Civil Air Patrol.
