| About Me | After graduation, I worked at Rohm & Haas Textiles for 6 years, which included a 3 year tour in the Army. In April of 77, I started work at Kelly Springfield Tire Co., now called The Goodyear Fayetteville Plant. Also that same year I married the lady that I'm still married to for 42 years and her name is Twyla. We have a son, Anthony 39 and a daughter, Morgan 37. After 31 years with Goodyear I retired from manufacturing, but not work. Two days after retiring, I was hired as a security officer with the TV show Extreme Makeover and we traveled all over the US for about a year. I've driven school buses since then just to occupy my time and a couple of years at Mac Williams Middle School as a custodian. Now drawing Social Security, I'm 75% retired except for working every other week at Powers Swain Chevrolet as a parts driver. I have found a new hobby called...(read more) |
