| About Me | From 1988 through 2000 I worked for the North Carolina Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. My job was to enable persons with disabilities overcome their disabilities through independence and employment. By the time I had retired I had enabled more than 1000 North Carolinians with disabilities become independent (as they could) and gainfully employed. After my retirement I became an active member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church. I am currently a Lay Speaker of the local United Methodist Church, chairperson of the Staff Parish Relations Committee, and am a member of the Church Administrative Council.
