National Guard, 20+ Years
Spent my active duty years training to eliminate the Soviet Union, then they just kind of went away on their own.
Got out, went into the N.G. in SD, IA, PA, MN.
Deployed for the War on Terror where I came to the realization that this job is best left to the young men and women. God Bless them and Keep them.

I had enter the Marine Corps after graduating, serve for 6 years and decided to hang it up. A year later I joined the Army and now I am looking at 3 more years before I retired from the Army. It's been heck of a journey for me but well worth it to fight for our country.

I entered the Iowa ANG in 1986 as a nurse, 2nd LT. I had lots of assignments during my 27 years of active duty and reserves. I retired in 2013 and really enjoyed working as a nurse and a space operations officer. Best thing and toughest thing I have done. Loved it!
