Boot camp with Wayne after graduation. Basic infantry school, field radio school. A year and a half on Camp Pendleton, then Vietnam. Radio operator for 8" howitzer artillery in northern I Corps. Dong Ha, Cam Lo, Quang Tri. Tet Offensive, Khe Sahn AFTER the siege. WIA in last convoy out. God is good and blesses me richly!
