| About Me | After high school I spent one year at Edinboro College where I played football and figured out that the college life was way too much fun. I was too wild at that point in my life to devote the kind of time and effort it takes to be a good student/athlete. So I joined the United States Navy and sailed around the world a couple times in six years. I left the navy honorably as a DS1, Petty Officer First Class, Data Systems Technician. I married a beautiful person and raised four awesome young men. The oldest and youngest went to Shady Side Academy for high school and the two middle boys attended Pittsburgh Central Catholic. I think that my biggest regret was not finishing college and I wanted all of my boys to get an excellent education. My oldest son Ric attended the University of Pennsylvania. He was a triple major out of the Wharton School of Business. He was also a two time captain on the football team. My second son Nic went to St. Francis University where he received his Business Management degree. He also played football and started at full back for the Red Flashes four years in a row. He also made the Honor Roll. Then number three son Nino went to Franklin and Marshal college where he wrestled for the Diplomats. Nino currently works for Road Runner, in Pittsburgh, as the director of sales. That brings us to my youngest son Roman. He just finished school at The College of the Holy Cross( Holy Cross) with a degree in Mathematics. He was also the Captain of his football team. He will be getting married this year to his college sweetheart. So, as you can see we have been very busy over the years. I would love to see all of my boys come back to the Burgh and live happily ever after, we will see. For my wife and I, the hard work is done. We were enjoying the fruits of our labor, until Cancer took her. So, I travel when we can, drink Margaritas when we must and find...(read more) |
