About Me	Worked for a period, then went to Bellingham VoTech for secretarial certificate. Worked as a secretary for about a year, then went to Whatcom Community College for 2 years and graduated with an associates degree. Went to WWU and graduated with a bachelor of science in mathematics. Met my husband in one of my math classes. We graduated from WWU in 1990 and got married in 1991. We moved to Kansas so I could attend Kansas State University and I received a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering in 1994. Got a job at Boeing as a design engineer in Wichita. Had our first child in 2001. I was laid off from Boeing after 9/11. We adopted our second child in 2004.
