About	Eric G Jackson (class of 77) passed away at his home in Tucson, AZ. Soon after graduation, Eric started working for James Jeans in Seattle. When they needed help with border customs in El Paso, TX, Eric volunteered because he had taken Spanish 1 in high school. Within a few years he formed ERC (Early Retirement Company), a maquiladora (USA & Mexican). At it’s peak we had a cutting room/warehouse in El Paso and several factories in Mexico with hundreds of machine operators making millions of articles every year. We specialized in non-apparel making totes for Esprit, backpacks for Jansport and seat covers for GRACO among other items. Changing global policies and NATFA brought our business down. Always the optimist, Eric moved to Tucson and started American Ice. Making ice cubes for the greater Tucson area until illness required selling the business. Eric leaves behind his wife of 30+ years, Suzanne and three daughters; Shellene, Caitlyn and Kelsie. Derek Jackson (1976)
