About Susan (Suzy) Elizabeth Gillogly (Robertson), 74, Citrus Heights, CA, passed away unexpectedly on May 30, 2025. Born at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Bellingham, WA, on October 26, 1950, she grew up in Whatcom County attending schools in the Mount Baker and Bellingham School Districts, graduating from Sehome High School in 1968. She went back to school in 1971, completing the accounting program at Bellingham Technical College.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, James Malcolm Robertson, and Martha Ginnett; sisters Shirley Robertson, Judy Larsen, and Joan Smiley; and brothers Norman LeRoy Robertson, John (Jack) Daniel Robertson, and Robert Timothy Flockoi.

She spent most of her adult life living and working in California and made her home in Citrus Heights for the last forty years. She was a working partner Temps-to-Go, Inc., serving the greater Sacramento, CA, area until her retirement.

Susan played tennis and golf, was an excellent seamstress, and a talented artist her entire life. She gave art lessons to the children in her neighborhood, and to the residents at the assisted living facility where her mother resided. After the death of her mother, she worked part-time as an activity assistant and enjoyed visiting with the residents. She enjoyed an online business painting pet portraits. During the last decade of her life, Susan poured her energy into the rescue and adoption of beagles in the Sacramento area, nurturing many dogs back to good health and delivering them to forever homes. She will be missed by many.
