About Me	Michael A. Stimsonreed, Ph.D. Mike, 50 years old. Rob will turn 45 in March. We were married in Vermont via "Civil Union" and then in Canada via "Civil Marriage." I guess we wanted to make sure it was legal and binding... We have four wonderful children we had the pleasure and honor of raising in our home. Now they're older and some spending more time with their moms which is a good thing for them, and maybe a bit of a rest for us. Of course it's so different when they start to leave the nest. All those years together in one house, we do miss those years and having them close by. Rob is a Truck Driver by trade, and Mike is a doctor with a Ph.D. in the medical science area. Now retiring due to a spinal disease, he tries to take it easy. Both Rob and Mike hold Federal Communications Licenses in Amateur Radio (HAM Radio) which is a big hobby they share. Two of the four children, Mikie and Elizabeth are also Federally licensed Amateur Radio Operators. Nathan, the youngest is now interested and will soon study for his license. Emily, ...(read more)
