| About Me | Serving as a City Councilor for the City of Taunton, MA. * Former President of the City Council 2012-2013 My responsibilities as City councilor, I must attend weekly public meetings to conduct city business. As a council member I must read the council agenda packages, which includes municipal staff reports on city projects, ordinance proposals, and zoning and land use issues. As Councilor I must attend annual budget meetings and implement a spending and revenue policy. Councilors must vote on issues pending before the council and should articulate my reasons for the vote to the public. Council members are required to participate in the decision-making process involving city-related litigation or personnel issues as well.
