About Me	Operator of Camera two at Hill Country Bible Church, Austin - Lakeside. I enjoy operating an Amateur Radio (Ham) station. My call sign is N5FKW. I spend a lot of time working hams on several nets such as: Hams For Christ...Central Gulf Coast Hurricane Net...Amateur Radio Emergency Service...Texas Traffic Net...No Name Net...Southwest Traffic Net...plus just plain ole ragchew with fellow hams around the world. I serve in my church in the Tech, Worship, & Impact Ministries. I enjoy operating Camera Two on a rotation basis in the main worship services & operate the video/audio venues for the Impact Ministry. I'm Vice Chairman for the Society of Broadcast Engineers Chapter 79, Austin, TX. Besides working as a Chief Engineer I also spent a good portion of that time working as a radio announcer from country music to classical stations. Also worked as a News Director at several of those stations while in the capacity of Chief Engineer. My radio name was Gentleman Jim Roberts at the country stations. Spent lots of Friday nights at High School football stadiums operating as engineer for the game broadcasts. The play by play announcer keep everyone informed that I had written a book called "Lots of Luck With Lotspeich." I didn't but he loved to announce the fact. Other endeavors in my career included playing in a Blue Grass band, three different symphony orchestras and of course Navy Unit Bands.
