1976-78; He taught Civics and Government, Pys Ed, and Coached Men's Basketball at SCHS. His wife, Joan taught at Shallow Water school, and his daughter, Dawna, attended her Jr and Sr years at SCHS, graduating in 1977. He was a beloved teacher, mentor, father, husband and man. He died from brain cancer at Moundridge Hospital, aged 64 years and 364 days.
