Eric Virden
Class of 2005
Army, 2 Years
Eric is currently stationed at the Yakima Missle Center in Yakima, Washington. After basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, Eric spent 11 months in advanced training at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama and Eglin Air Force Base, Florida where he attended the Naval Explosives Ordinance Disposal School, graduating near the top of his class. Eric is an EOD Specialist trained in munitions, nuclear and chemical weapons disposal.

Graduated HS 2003, basic training 2003, Germany for two years in which first deployment to Iraq within those two years. Deployment to Afghanistan in 2007, and second deployment to Iraq December 2007. Based out of Ft Polk, LA and due to end service time in July 2009 for a total of six years. In the picture, he is the one in front on the right. This was in Afghanistan

Our Scioto High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done!
