About Me	After HS graduation I attended the University of Illinois, got a BS in Chemical Engineering (Highest Distinction). I attended the University of Minnesota and was awarded a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. Went back to the U. of I. for a postdoc, then hired on with Morton Thiokol (now Northrop Grumman) in Utah to work with aerospace products including solid propellant rocket motors for military and space applications. I have had, for example, important roles on NASA programs such as Space Shuttle and Artemis. I stayed on the technical ladder and passed on opportunities to go into management. Over my 36 year career as an research chemist/engineer I was a technical leader in many areas. I retired in April 2022.
