Barney was my classmate, my cousin and my friend and I miss him mightily. Like me, he attended SVCS for all 13 of his grade school/high school years.
It was at SVCS he formed one of the closest and most enduring relationships of his life with the mn he called "his brother" J. David ("The Head") Moorhead. Most people [well, perhaps not all of his techers!] seemed to enjoy his company, his "upbeat" spirit, the devilish twinkle in his eye, always. I chose to post this particular picture because it seemed to me to be the best one to show his true spirit.
So rest well, my beautiful and beloved cousin. I will always love you and carry you in my heart.
