About Me	Joined the Navy enlisted went into medical community and then on to the special warfare Naval Diving and Salvage, became a commissioned officer in 1985 and retired as CDR(select) in 2000. I immediately joined UF and Shands as the clinical coordinator for the Nurse Anesthesia Programs. I have been the Chief CRNA for the University of Florida, Department of Anesthesia for the past 6 years and the Director of Surgical Services for the Shands Medical Center the past 2 years. UF & Shands is the regions level one trauma and transplant referral center.
