William "Bill" Parnell was born in Henryetta and graduated High School from Sapulpa. He served in the US Army as a printer stationed in Korea and Japan. He graduated from OSU and married my mom Janice Marie (Lile) Parnell in 1964. He moved to Washington DC the summer after their marriage to work for the Department of Agriculture. Then moved later to Del Rio, Texas to work in the Accounting and Finance Department of Laughlin Air Force Base. He was there till 1996 when he moved to first work at Kelly Joint Base then the Department of Defense. He retired in 2004. He was a loving father and husband and I miss him terrible.
He was very proud to have graduated from Sapulpa High School and he wanted to make sure I shared his detail with you.
