Served at Lowry AFB from 1977 - 1982 as an instructor of the weapon control system (radar) for the F-4E Phantom. Spent one year in Korea with my AF husband after I got out, at Osan AB south of Seoul in 1988. My picture attached is of me teaching my first class. Fun times.

Joined the Air Force Reserves following 9/11 and is currently stationed at March ARB CA as the Chief of Optometry Services for the 452d Aerospace Medicine Squadron. Deployed as as a International Health Specialist with Special Experience to Afica, Southeast Asia, Central and South America on Humanitarian Missions. Serves as the Optometry Subject Matter Expert for Air Force Reserve Command and is additionally trained as a Security Cooperation Officer for Embassy staff. Current rank Lieutenant Colonel.

I enlisted my senior year in high school and went off to boot camp that July. Next Summer ('09) I will be graduating from Officer Candidate School. I am recieving my degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle University next Spring ('09). I plan to be a pilot for the Marine Corps and my wife and I will move to Florida for flight school in the next few years. I will be in for about 20 years or so.

He plans to go to NYU or Seattle University for Law School.

15.25 yrs. active Regular Army Special Ops as Terrain Analyst and Counterintelligence Special Agent. 3 yrs. at Fort Belvoir, VA as Senior Instructor Terrain Analysis. Stationed: Fort Hood attached with Div. HQ, 1st Cav., G2; terrain detachment for III Corps, Stuttgart, FRG, from 1986 to 1989; Schofield Barracks attached to Div. HQ, G2, 25th ID Tropic Lightning, Oahu; Seoul, S. Korea three times (once as Terrain Analyst team member, once on high profile DOD. assignment to teach the multi-disciplines of Terrain Analysis with a fellow instructor to South Korean military enlisted members and officers, once a one-yr. assignment as a Counterintelligence Special Agent; Fort Huachuca, Fort Lewis, Fort Polk, and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Took voluntary retirement as a result of unit deactivation and Army drawdown. Chose to utilize voc. rehab. through which I earned BA degrees at Washington State University in Accounting, Business Science (Statistics), and Management Information Systems. I then used student loans to earn an MBA in International Business accentuating Finance and Business Operations (Lean Business). Have worked as Business Analyst at Microsoft, Quality Certification Coordinator at Panasonic Avionics (designer and manufacturer of in-flight entertainment and communication systems for commercial aircraft, to include all major commercial aircraft manufacturers), Business Analyst at Chevron Texaco Information Technology Company supporting Chevron Shipping Company and Quality Data Analyst and Service Bulletin Specialist at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (designer and manufacturer of components to provide safe, efficient, reliable electric power energy for electric power utilities, industrial sites and private enterprise, a pioneer in smart power grid technology. Before enlisting in the Army, worked 4+ yrs. on the assembly line and 5 yrs. as a draftsperson in the Manufacturing Engineering/Product Design Department for Buck Knives, Inc. El Cajon.

Spent 30+ years in the Air Force starting out working Avionics on B-52D & G model bombers at March and Fairchild Air Force Bases. In 1985 I was selected as a member of the B-1B Test Team (Dyess AFB) activating the then newest bomber into the Air Force inventory. In 1990 I left the aircraft maintenance field and was selected to become a First Sergeant which I did for the remaining 16 + years (Homestead, RAF Alconbury UK, Cannon, RAF Lakenheath, Naval Air Station Pensacola, Hurlburt Field and multiple foreign deployments). After retirement I entered government service as a member of US Special Operations Command with multiple deployments to include both Iraq and Afghanistan. I retired from government service in 2022.

started as a combat medic then went on to become a licensed practical nurse. went to Ft Dix, NJ--basic; AIT at Ft Sam Houston, Texas, stationed at Ft. Carson Colorado during my active years(also went to Germany and Hooland)
During my reserve time I was stationed at Hanscom Airforce Base and Ft Devens in MA.

Graduated boot camp MCRD San Diego, on to Engineers school in NC, then Camp Pendelton.

Shipped overseas to MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, then back to MCAS El Toro.

Many travels in between, but the Marine Corps was the best decision I ever made. It still has an effect on my life to this day.

Grandfather (KIA Battle of the Bulge Army), Step Grandfather (Navy), Father (Army), Mother (Army), Uncle (Army) and Sister (Navy) all served with pride. After enlisting in the delayed entry program on 14 Jun 1986, he went
active duty in Nov 1986 as a Satellite Communications equipment repairer, maintainer, and operator. He has had a wide variety
of jobs within the SATCOM field ranging from Satellite control taking care of the satellite health and welfare (flying satellites), to tactical SATCOM systems making sure communications were flowing to the commanders in the field.

Status: Currently retired from the Army and living in Germany monitoring the status of military communication networks supporting the African continent.
