About Me	Carlos Octavio Rubio is no stranger to the entertainment Industry. As a child, he found himself fixated on learning how to build and recreate everything and anything he saw in the movies. His favorite toys included a 35mm camera; he recalls always having a special interest in lighting and visual aesthetics of the photographs he took. Rubio began his film career constructing props for photoshoots and live performances featured on Fangoria Weekend of Horror Tour 2009. After returning from the tour he became involved on several local short films as Assistant Camera and the desire to orchestrate shots, design and construct equipment to achieve quality cinematic shots grew unbearable. Rubio returned to college where he learned the technical aspects of cameras, cinematography, and film-making. During his learning experience, a strong bond with colleagues formed which shaped the path to create his second company, Camera Hogs LLC, a mobile production company providing videograpy, photography, industry equipment construction and rentals nationwide. Rubio is the Equipment Designer/ Constructor and Director of Photography for Camera Hogs LLC, and continues to build innovative equipment for filmmakers nationwide.
