About Me	Gia creates, teaches, and performs with relentless devotion and attention- bridging her yogic practices with her life as artist and teacher. She has been teaching piano, singing and acting for 20 years. Gia is also a prolific poet and theatre dancer, especially the repertoire of Bob Fosse. She received her BA in psychology/ English from NYU, honors in classical voice/piano from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, with further medical studies at Columbia University. Gia also spent some intermittent years working in neuroscience at NYU Medical Center. In 2010, she and Carlo Altomare re-established his Alchemical Theatre Acting Company (1981-). Together they lovingly run Alchemical Studios, affordable rehearsal photography studios and performance venue in NYC.
