About Me	I've reached "middle age" and its been quite a journey. I graduated h/s in1961 and jr. college in 1981. I've been married and divorced 3 times. I have 2 boys from my first husband, they're 46 & 47 this year, 2010. I've lived most of my life in SoCal, LA & Orange Counties. I've lived for shorter periods in WA twice and WV once, 1-1/2 years. My 1st marriage lasted 12 years right after h/s. My last marriage lasted, give or take, 24 years, our relationship 30 years until his death 10/4/2011. We were married 7/5/1981 in Aspen,CO. My college classes included Med. Asst. Training, Psych., Soc., English, Anthro., Biol., Phil. all leading to an A.A. in Eng./Comm. In my working years I worked in offices as admin. asst. for many different companies. I became permantly disabled 1997 due to Chronic Fatigue. I found my artistic side after that. I took up pastel drawing about that time and have also worked in clay figures, home decorating, hair cutting, desktop publishing. I've travelled all over the states, MX, Can., HI x 5, Great Brit., Jamaica x 2. Love HI and SoCal the best. My 2 sons never had children so I adopted a brother and sister who lived 2 doors down in my condo bldg. I was very close to them until C'mas 2010 when they moved out of state. The young man is now 18 and stays in close touch with me. He visited for a couple of weeks this last summer and hopefully will visit again at C'mas this year. I've kind of adopted him as my grandson and he accepts that too. He is a very great person and I'm most proud of him. I couldn't have raised a grandson who would be this nice to me and caring of me. I love to dance although I'm not very good at it. I've danced with basically the same people for about 6 years. Its like family; a good round of friends. My 50th high school (Samohi) reunion was last Oct. but I missed it because of Ken's funeral. About 5 years ago I reunited with my best friend from high school, Bonny Smith. Since then we picked up right where we left off and have become good friends again. This is just the best part of my growing older. She and I still think the same and LOAsO. I hope eac...(read more)
