About	Merle Edward Lowe, 48, of Topeka, passed away Monday March 13, 2006 at Midland Hospice House. He was born September 8, 1957 in Topeka, the son of Bert Clifford and Betty May Brault Lowe. He spent his childhood in Carbondale and graduated from Santa Fe Trail High School. He worked for the State of Kansas Dept. of Administration as a carpenter for 13 years, 9 of which were at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, and four years in Topeka. He was an avid walleye fisherman and loved the outdoors. He met the love of his life, Mary Jo Grooms, in December, 2002. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include a daughter, Andrea Rae Lowe; a son, Travis Eugene Lowe. Merle passed away of cancer.
