Michael Humeston died at Stanford hospital due to complications resulting from a bone marrow transfer. Michael was diagnosed with leukemia in the fall of 1994. This was a secondary infection caused by medication for a rare and fatal blood disease called polyarteritis nodosa that was diagnosed in 1987. He was 31. He left behind his wife Carolyn (Woodman, class of 1983), parents Fred & Liz Humeston, brother Lee Humeston (class of 1980), sisters Patricia (Humeston) Moore (class of 1983) and Aimee (Humeston) Stott (class of 1988).
