Hello, this is Bob Fish, Class of '64,
I'm sure many, many more of us mourn Vickie's passing as much and even more than me. She was a very articulate and unique individual, a pleasure to speak with and a fine English teacher.
I didn't know her personally, following high school, except to have full discussions on the subject of politics. Beyond that she had hundreds of stories of her exploits in Oregon and Montana which she shared with me in a twenty+ year email-relationship. Her personal life was that of much love of every student she encountered, of whom she also loved to relate stories, never one less than complimentary.
Vivid to me, even in my 79th year, is the fact that she and I shared my first kiss, on a Charlotte Wood Grammar School extracurricular "hayride", she being "one of" my first grammar school crushes. More than that I have mostly a foggy memory.
I regret to say that she and I were not close. I wish her fond farewell and God's Blessings. Rest In Peace Vickie Voit....Anderson.
