Scott passed on July 20th, 1974. He will always be remembered as the nicest guy that everyone loved. The most talented overall athlete in SRHS history. He was a 3 year starter at running back and also as defensive back. His blinding speed , described by Coach Muster as " breakaway speed" electrified sellout crowds . Scott helped lead the Bulldogs to the MCAL title in 1971. He also was a record breaking speedster in track . Scott was recruited by many Division 1 schools, he ultimately chose Cal. He went on to play safety & was a punter as well for the Golden Bears. The summer before his junior year at Cal, Scott was a Lifeguard at Kings Beach. He passed away nearby on July 20th, 1974. Scott will always be remembered for his smile that lit up the room, and his amazing skills on the football field as a legendary superstar who will forever shine in Bulldogs history .
