| Favorite School Memory | Mostly the adventure of returning to the U.S. after living in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia the previous two years, where I had attended a very small American School and the Lycée Francaise. My great new adventure at SMHS was adjusting to such a large school where I didn't know anyone, never having been in Santa Barbara (or California) before. But my years at SMHS served me well and I value all my memories of classmates, school dances, assemblies, pep rallies & games. I only wish I hadn't resisted the opportunities to dance with all you great "Califonia Girls" when I had the chance, but my shyness kind of got in the way.
