Dear SMHS alum and friends,
My Mom, Mary Nielsen, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 8 from a heart-related ailment. She was 64.
Many of you may remember her; she was the Principal's Secretary at SMHS from 1988 to 2000.
The family will be having a private burial on Friday, but we're holding a Celebration of Life for her at Twin Oaks Golf Course Garden Room (1425 N. Twin Oaks Valley Rd., San Marcos, CA, 92069) on Saturday, December 10, 2008 from 2 to 5 p.m. This will be entirely informal, but we look forward to having people who remember her stop by and share stories about her.
In lieu of flowers or donations, my Mom said she'd prefer donations to your own favorite charities in her name.
