Roland was a fun loving prankster. Played Junior Football, loved his Autoshop classes, and graduated in 1974. In 1976 he developed Wegners Granulmatriculousis and subsequently passed his 21st Birthday year.
Ev Henry '70 said:
Roland died in 1977. He had Wegners disease. Auto immune disease usually suffered by older adults. He fought the good fight. But succumbed to a virus and died at our parents home in Houston Texas. We miss him very much. All his sisters are still alive, Evelyn, Doris, and Carol.
