Rich was my closest friend from chidhood and teenage years (at SLHS). We lost touch for years until we reconnected inn our 60s and 70s. I heard form his son a feww years ago that he died about a year after having a stroke. A great guy, he was very active in the Sonoma United Methodist Church in his olater years.
