Over a 20 year career, I deployed more than a dozen times, and enjoyed every second of it. I'm a Veteran of the first Persian Gulf War. My wife, Lonni, was there to back me up on every decision and deployment, and accompanied me on our duty assignment to Japan where I was forward deployed for 6 years. My children are proud Navy Brats, with our oldest being born in a Naval Hospital and our youngest 2 born in Yokohama, Japan. If I could get back into uniform today, I would do it without hesitation.
