Doug Elmore
Class of 1978
San Dieguito Alum and current Army Reserve Nurse Corps Officer is currently serving in his second tour in Afghanistan. This time as the commander of a 24 person Forward Surgical Tesm.
During the first deployment in 2002 Doug became the first nurse to have received the Purple Heart Medal in a designated combat zone since Vietnam Nam.
