As an honors Science and English student at Tilden HS, it came as no surprise to those who knew him when he went on to become an author,Disability Rights Advocate and 3 times Guinness Book World Record holder in public speaking.In 1977, he published his doctoral thesis in Metaphysical Philosophy titled: The Philosophy of Divine Nutrition.PDN is an internal martial art based upon Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do as well as comparative religious study with an emphasis on nutrition,longevity and health.To demonstrate his drug free sports nutrition program, he used his book to deliver the World's Longest Sermon-93 consecutive hours (Sept 18-22-78) He did this as the student representative of the Tree of Life School located on 125th & Lennox Ave in Harlem, NY.He also holds two After Dinner Speaking records based upon his research and books-The History of herbs in maintaining physical fitness-19 hr 25 min-1985 and The Way of PDN -The Ultimate Vegetarian Athletic Nutrition Program-32 hr 20 min-1988.After each record, he gave a New Jump Swing jump rope demonstration.He credits his years at Tilden High School as some of the most significant to his growth and development.
