About	Chip was a great friend, devoted Christian and loving father. He died peacefully in his sleep in May of 2005 after battling an unknown illness. He was well known by many as a man of prayer who always told people "I'm praying for you" or something similar. His wife Ann proceeded him in death a couple years prior after finally losing her battle with breast cancer. Together, with his wife Ann and his devoted son David at his side, they established a network of prayer chains to support missionary efforts throughout the world. His son David recently graduated with honors at Portland Christian High School after relocating to Oregon to be raised by his uncle Tim (Chip's brother) after Chip's passing. He is doing exceptionally well and has received a full four-year scholarship for tuition, room and board and the works at the University of Oklahoma. Chip will definitely be missed!
