About Me	I have 3 natural born children and 3 adopted, (all girls). My daughters range in age from 10 to 38 years. I'm a sucker for children's hard luck stories. We did foster care for several years, and keep in touch with most of the kids who lived with us. I've been married twice. My 1st husband and I were together for 4 years and I had our 1st 2 daughters with him.., Kari and Kelli. Gary, my 2nd and present husband, and I have been together for 32 years. We grew up 1/2 a block away from each other. We dated in High school for a while. When we broke up, we remained friends. When I needed a friend after my marriage break-up he was there. We are best friends still. We had 1 daughter together. Molly she is 31. When the empty nest hit us we decided to adopt. 1st a 10 year old, Katie. She is 23 now. Our youngest we got from the hospital when she was 2 days old. (She is 10 now.) She was supposed to stay with us for only a few weeks. When we figured she'd be leaving we decided to adopt another child. A 6 year old, Chelsea (she's 16 now). Lacie left for only a few weeks, then returned to us. We adopted Chelsea and Lacie on the same day.Katie and Chelsea are considered "Special Needs" kids. My Grandson Gabriel is 2 1/2 and has lived with us since birth. In the course of being a Mom it has been hard but I wouldn't take one of those hard days away because they have taught me a lot. Mostly patience and forgiveness. I am the 8th of 9 siblings.
