| About Me | Mrs. Louisiana United States 2006 Vocalist and Recording Artist Recording Artist, Alysha Black Wimberly was born and raised in the Greater New Orleans area. She began performing at the age of seven, stepping out onto her church's stage. Continuing in the spotlight Alysha competed in beauty and talent competitions throughout Louisiana. In 1988 Alysha was crowned Miss Teen New Orleans and was a finalist in Miss Teen Louisiana USA. Once again, she was crowned as Mrs. Louisiana United States 2006 and went on to compete in the nationaly televised Mrs. United States Pageant. In 2011 she signed a recording contract with Tate Music Group and released her debut album titled I'm Still Here. Alysha released her debut album, I'm Still Here in 2011. The album featured the single It's Just A Male Thing and is currently being played on thousands of radio and satellite stations.
